      Monthly Account Fee

      How to avoid the $5 monthly account fee

      Floridacentral checking and savings accounts may be charged a $5.00 monthly fee. This fee will be waived under any of the following conditions:

      • The first 60 days for new accounts, or
      • The primary member is under the age of 24, or
      • The cumulative monthly average balance across all checking, savings, and Christmas Club accounts is $500 or more (IRA or Certificate of Deposit accounts are not included), or
      • Total monthly direct deposits of $500 or more in checking and/or savings accounts, or
      • Have an active loan, mortgage, or credit card. A Line of Credit (LOC) or Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) must have a balance, and credit cards must have a balance or a transaction in the last three (3) billing cycles to be considered active.
