Review your options for accessing a savings account at an ATM
Floridacentral no longer issues ATM cards, however, you can request a debit card with savings account access for use at an ATM.
What's the Difference?
An ATM card has limited functionality. It can only be used at an ATM terminal to withdraw money or to check the account balance. In other words, you can’t make purchases with an ATM card.
A debit card, however, has more functionality and protections. It allows you to do everything you can do with an ATM card, plus make purchases at stores, restaurants, and online. Purchases are deducted from your checking account.
Debit cards will normally say DEBIT on the font and have a credit card logo, like VISA or MasterCard, to show where the card will be accepted. Besides getting cash out or checking your balance, you can also buy stuff online or in person.
